Sketches by hand, Procreate, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop
This was a first-semester project at HTL Spengergasse, where I got to design an apartment from start to finish. I started by analyzing the site and imagining two residents: Quendoline, an author, and Carina, a piano teacher.
We created mood, style, color, and material boards, along with an interior collage to shape the concept. After sketching floor plans by hand, we finalized the layout in AutoCAD, selecting colors, materials, and furniture to bring the space to life.
One key element was Quendoline’s workspace, which I designed to be multifunctional and open. It’s in the living room, with dual-sided storage and a work surface that can be used from both sides, making it both practical and flexible.
This project was a great experience in interior planning, design, and problem-solving—a perfect first step into the world of interior design!
